HIV role play Communities are more ready to discuss the issues surrounding HIV & AIDS after they have watched a Tawkal drama production that tells a story of a family that has been affected by the disease.  It encourages community members to take immediate action, such as reporting cases of rape and attending a VCT clinic. Although we don't provide direct medical services theTawkal theatre team and community facilitators bridge-build between the community and local clinics to help people to access the services that are available and put pressure on their local government to provide services that are lacking.

HIV/AIDS awareness raising theatre performances have been held in 8 communities. So far 240 people have participated in HIV/AIDS/ FGM awareness sessions. 500 awareness raising leaflets distributed to pastoralists.
